The Murray Hill Institute in partnership with the New York Philharmonic, New York Women Composers, Mujeres en la Música of Spain and Young Women Social Entrepreneurs present Women in Music: A musical dialogue between the USA & Spain with music by Women Composers inspired by Shakespeare & Cervantes.

2Flutes (Laura Falzon & Pamela Sklar) will be performing the American premiere of a new quartet written by composer Pamela Sklar — Chains of Love for mezzosoprano (Anna Tonna), flute, alto flute and piano (Isabel Pérez Dobarro),  together with two works for flute and piano by members of the New York Philharmonic Very Young Composers Program — Cassandra Stevens’s Beauty & Magic (performed by flutist Pamela Sklar & pianist Isabel Pérez Dobarro),  and Madeline Schmidt’s Sunflower (performed by flutist Laura Falzon & pianist Isabel Pérez Dobarro).
